Anyone help with identification of this Arabic coin?

At the bottom we seem to have the word فلوس ("fuluus") which would be the denomination. This would suggest an Arab country, I think. But the small ornament made of four dots (looks like a small flower inside the script) suggests a Muslim kingdom in India.

How thick is it? That would help too (especially if very thick).

2mm thick and weight is ca. 8g (can't say the actual weight because I don't have an accurate scale at the moment)

could be from Iran - the lion with the rising sun behind almost looks the same - apart from with tail down instead of up.
