UK 3 pence 1920. KM# 813/813a - ? (Ag925/Ag500 - ?)

3 Pence - George V (1st issue; incl. Maundy) 1911-1920
3 Pence - George V (2nd issue; incl. Maundy) 1920-1927

I have coins of 1920. Maybe someone can explain how to distinguish KM# 813/813a ?

One is sterling silver and one is 50%, so possibly a specific gravity test could distinguish them.

The 50% coin is listed as being a tenth of a millimeter thicker, but that's probably too small a difference to measure accurately and consistently, given wear and tear, etc...
