These were given to me to identify/catalogue, but I'm having trouble. I can pass on what is on the flips: (I don't know why they come out upside down, can't seem to correct that..). I understand these are a lot harder than the conventional coins. I don't mind anyone sending me contact info for an expert in this field to help with approximate values as well.. Thanks for the help

Fake
ok, anything that jumps right out and helps you make that decision? Just info that I can pass back to the owner, thanks.
To make it simple here are my rationale for decision.

1. Chinese coinage did have shaped coins such as Bu s, spades, swords etc. They are always big in size and rarely fitted inside a typical coin holder.

2. Existance of Chinese characters (mostly none in this case)

3. Shape of such coins (and Chinese characters, if exists) should be look "neat" instead of "fancy"

4. The first coin known is not "shirt coin", indeed it is "shell coins", which one major material were bones. They were used in the period of 1500 BC - 1000 BC.

5. Spades coins, knife coins are first "invented" around 500BC

6. No rusts
