I have a 50 paise coin 1973 with a dot as a mint mark below the year. Inthe option i find only diamond for mumbai and no mint mark for Kolkatta
Where should i tick mark?

No trouble at all, I've done that a few times when I was first entering my collection on Numista. I got a lot of guidance from members here - Matt Probert sent me a link that helped me grade my coins and a few others helped me with IDs.
I was almost sure your coin was from the Bombay mint - as you probably know the Noida mint that has a circular mint mark went into production in 1988 and your coin is from 1973. But you never know there are always rare errors! Identifying mint marks on circulated coins from India are always difficult due to the heavy wear on them and nowadays poor minting depth on the FSS coins.
