Fake Chinese coins? [решено]

Some years ago I purchased a plastic folder of old Chinese coins from a shop in San Francisco. That was a good 30 or more years ago but now that I am older and more experienced I suspect they are counterfeit. Is there an easy war to tell?

Your first example appears to be a modern replica. The second example looks authentic.
