Цитата: "Palinka83"Hey guys,
I got this one from my dad some time ago. Since I'm not interested in medals or tokens I forgot about it for a while.

I did some research and there seems to be the original (obviously) made of copper and also ('official'?!) facsimiles.
Unfortunately I couldn't find any proper details about either of them (especially weight or how to distinguish one from the other). Can somebody help me with that? Maybe even a link in the Numista database?
Thanks
Chris
Here is a translation from the info in the second link: POËT AND WRITER, GOETHE, JOHANN WOLFGANG VON. *1749, +1832. Bronze medal 1826 by Loos/F.König commemmorating his 75th anniversary. Two muses holding
laurel wreath over the dressed like Apollo poët. 42 mm. A little later strike from the Loos medal facility. (later than 1832) Plain edge (restrike). Catalogue: Förschner 254.
Plain edge restrike suggest to me that original strike has a different edge this may be a single mark or reeded edge. Hopefully this is helpful for you.
