I just bought these two Morgan's for $25. I don't really collect Morgan's and have not really paid attention to their value, NGC says these are worth $30 each in VF. Is that a high value, or is that an actual fair market value?
Perhaps I should sell all my Morgan's and buy old German coins ;)
Thanks
I would say these are both VF, the 1899 is o
Taking a break from swapping for a while, but still interested in pre 1799 Spanish coins, I will make time for that!
Цитата: "aaronmgd"Morgan's sell really well. you can probably get in the $35-45 a pc for them.
Really? I thought the NGC price would have been a bit high for these, but your saying they are low.
I have only ever sold coins on Numista, how would you get $45 for these? I am not too interested in Ebay.
I would say these are both VF, but the 85 is in a bit better condition. Would you agree?
Thanks

In today's market, with silver down to $16.5/oz they're probably worth $18-20 each. I just want to know where you were able to buy them for below melt?
Well Steve27
This is how I have gotten a lot of silver under melt. With kids who want to sell silver coins. Or old people who want to sell some silver coins. But this is by word of mouth, so you have to be very honest . Right now I tell people to hold on to them as silver is down. Or hold on for the kids. But if they still want to sell. I tell them to find face value of the silver coins, and what types of silver coins. And call some silver buyers . And get what they would pay for them. Then I tell them I will gave them 20 to 30 % more. Silver buyers here are 40% or more under melt right now. If they still want to sell I tell them I will look through them and see if there is anything good. One lady had a 1934 or 1932 S dime in her silver. So I went back and gave her book value. Or see if she just wanted it back. She has told a lot of people about me ,and the other people tell more people, word of mouth. I also tell people they have a 7 day change there mind time. This is a very slow . Right now iam working with a young family with 3 kids. Who have a bag of Mercury dimes, About 5 dollars worth face value. Iam telling them to put a roll up for each kid , they will only go up in value. But with charismas coming I think they are going to sell the them all. I have gone as far as to say I will gave you money for them as a loan till after charismas , then we can go from there. But I think they just want to get rite of them. Only time will tell.
Oh it like with David I have no problem gaveling him 30 to 40 each for his Morgans. I will keep for 10 to 20 years so I will make money in the end. Or my kids hopefully will. My rule of thumb is if you buy a silver you should hold a minimal 10 years.
