Are those square things "coins"?

Ok, I admit those maybe aren't even coins.

I bought a lot of coins and got those two weird square things, there were roman and ancient coins together, so I guess they are supposed to be some kind of coin.

I searched google and got words like "sangam age" but nothing with weights or measurements.

So my question is:

Does it look like ancient coins? From where?
Of course I am not looking for a full ID, but just some opinions if they look like something worth keeping.

First: 1,5g 11mm x 13mm
Second: 2,2g 12mm x 14mm
Probably copper

Thank you for any comment.

Without detail it's pretty hard to say exactly what they are, but likely from one of the Indian states, they have quite a few of those unusual shaped coins
