I found this 2001 5 pence UK coin. Which looks like a bad case of machine doubling. Only on the side of the Queen. There is an extra line all around her.

Daryl: That is a sweet example of machine doubling. I have no idea how that happened. Maybe it is heavy die deterioration doubling as frequently seen on chromium plated dies that have had the plating wear out in the area of greatest stress (in this case - the edges of design where metal flows around corners into the cavities).
I will look into it further or if other members might know. Ed

I found a really bad US 1cent with ghosting. Got it yesterday in change. The odd thing is I got at the same gas station. Well let me explain , This is the fourth time I got a coin in change there. All 1900 to 1920 after someone in the family dies. Kind of odd
