Roman Denarius Severus Alexander

My main question, is it real?

It fits in a 20mm coinholder, which looks legitimate. I did not weigh it. Maybe I should take some pictures in daylight too.
A better photo might make a difference, but there seem to be signs of casting such as reworking on the cheek, scattered "pearls" and overall porosity/ soapiness.

Another attempt. You may be right about the casting.
Yes, unfortunately, I suspect it's a cast fake.
I'd also go for a fake/copy.

btw, the link you posted in the other topic is not your coin as your coin bears TR P III (third Tribunician Power i.e. year 224) while the one in the catalogue bears TR P (1st Tribunician Power i.e. year 222).

Have a look here for two similar coins.

Si c'est un grand plaisir d'être reconnu par ses amis, c'est peut-être encore plus flatteur d'être reconnu par ses adversaires.
Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.
Thanks for your opinions. I will try to get a refund. It was $25 which is a pity but not the end of the world. I've known the seller for a while so I don't think it's pure bad intent and I do expect he will refund me.

And if not, I'll be quoting Pulp Fiction's Marcellus Wallace a couple of times ;-)
