Hi,
firstly i want to apologize for my bad english. My question is, which year and where was made the coin from the pictures below? Thanks in advance.
Dimensions:
Weight: 0.90gr.
Diameter: 1.0cm.
Hello Ariana and welcome to Numista!
I have seen the coin and the diameter cannot be 1 cm it must be 10 cm and the weight I don't know of course it must be right or wrong but please check the weight again.
Hi Subha Barua, and thanks for your answer. The diameter of the coin is 10mm. and the weight is 0.9g. But after i saw your link a'm not sure that these two coins are the same, the stars in the middle are similar but other signs doesn't look similar.

Hello again,
Ok, I understand. But the thing's that Ottoman, Roman, old Arabic and any other electrum coins don't remain same forever. I also thought that. The star is in the middle but incription is not right.
The thign's that I gave the link and that the coin in the link, that coin is too poor condition, many times destroyed in war, etc. So his coin is too bad. I think it is of Murad II.
Dltcoins can you give the link to Ariana?

Hey, that is why I say Ariana's coin is of Murad the second whatever the name is and same to the coin in Wikipedia too. Murad II conquered Serbia around in the 15th century.
"Under Murad II, the Tsardom of Serbia was destroyed. Under Murad V, it has to rise again, as it is the wish of the the Serbian and Montenegrins and that of Almighty God"
- Prince Nikola I of Montenegro.
I agree it is the coin of Murad II that is of possesion of Ariana.
Ariana's coin translates "Mehmed (II) son of Murad (I) khan, may his victory be glorified, 865" // "May his kingdom be perpetuated, was struck at Novar". The date 865 (AD 1461) places the coin in the 2nd reign of Mehmed II.
I have been studying numismatic Arabic (including Persian and Ottoman Turkish, which also use Arabic letters) for about 20 years. I began with "Arabic Coins and How to Read Them" by Richard Plant and the patient assistance of those more knowledgeable than myself.
