I need some help identifying the below coins. It is a pretty rare coin and I can buy one around €40. Below a link of a selling price I think is way too much for this coin.. I cant find an accurate price on NGC for example.
The seller is saying the weight is around 31 grams on a kitchen scale. The diameter is around 40mm. This seems pretty right.
Any doubts on this one? Shouls I take the gamble?
Thanks!
Michael

Lijkt mij ook! Maar heb toch nog enkele twijfels. Komt misschien ook doordat het gescande is..

Well...this is not nearly as nice as the NGC one is. But it is a very low mintage and one year type. Do you have the chance to submit for authenticity and a refund if it is not real?

That won't be an option. It's from a small storage store that has probably no clue what they are selling. They won't give refunds on coins. So it would be a gamble. Getting a nice rare coin or losing 40€. I am willing to take the chance if I get some positive advise from other collectors. Offcourse with the chance it is fake.

Here you find the NGC values. So this one, if real, is worth between €350 and €1600, so the previous link might be correct about the €9000.
So the seller is really not knowing what they sell or it is absolutely fake..

Trust your gut instinct. The best is amazing price. The worst is that for a relatively low price you have an excellent fake...some people actually collect fakes...i spend 40 on coins I need...sometimes i don't see those coins again for decades.

That is a really good replica.. I have asked the seller to send a picture of the edge. It should be readed. The replica on alieExpress has a smooth edge.

I agree, but the NGC values are catalog values, not real selling/buying prices.
Look at the feedback the seller gets, or what other things he sells.
Always be carefull in buying rare or valuable coins for prices that are to low (or even to high)....
