This coin is super thin and looks to have some kind of lamination error. I would love to know what everyone else thinks plz leave a comment thank you. Here is another 1893 to compare. Plz let me know.

It looks like it has been driven over a few times. Americans treat cents worse than dirt.

I would think acid. That tends to be the cause of such corroded underweight coins.

No, this is a coin that corroded probably from being in the ground, was then cleaned, and somewhat repatinated. But it's not a mint error and has quite low value due to the damage.
