Цитата: "Grinya"It is fake. The letters on the circle are too crooked. Just compare to the photos of real coin
I am not convinced. The more I compare it with pics of other examples in the internet, the more I get the feeling that it might be genuine as they all differ a lot.
100% real coin. These are known to have a zillion varieties as each detail was hand-punched into the die. For such a low-value coin (3-5 euro), there would be no reason for anyone to fake it (at least not in this condition). Nice coin!

I collect anything: If it's Italian or Italian states i collect it even more!
OK, I'm not a specialist, but comparing to the other pictures it doesn't seem a real. Too primitive letters, too simple details (e.g. too simple denticles from the edge). Maybe this is a fake from the time of circulation?
I'd never buy it.
What about the size/weight?

Yes I know it is not easy. Size and weight is correct. When you visit this Chinese eBay webpage "alibaba" or what it is called, I get the feeling that there is no coin that is not subject to counterfeiting.
