i just bought these coins in germany , but i'm not sure if they are real coins
online i could only find silver versions of these coins , so i asked the seller if they were real and he told me that these are period fakes
so i'm i right to say these are hungarian coins from around 1550 ?
and could someone tell me if these are original period fakes or later ?
I can't say for certain but copper or silver billon fakes were common in that period. Most of these come from metal detecting and fake coins are common in large metal detecting lots along with genuine medieval coins.
I'm no expert but as far as I know fakes from that period are spotted by how crude their details are, especially the edge lettering and these are very crude so if they come from a reliable source I would trust him.
Just out of curiosity, how much did you pay for them?
I collect and deal in ancient Roman coin. In case you're looking for affordable ancient coins or need any help with the coins you already have send me a message.

hi thanks for your reaction ,
i paid around 12 euros for all 4 ( inc. shipping )
is this a good price ?
Sounds about right, these are usually sold for 1 or max 2 euro each so 12 for 4 with shipping included is about right.
I would trust the source and even though they aren't real coins they still have some cool history behind them.

Yes, it dont need to be all Ferdinand I it depends on minted year :). But if there is ~1550 as you mentioned before it is ferdinand I. Check years - it is not visible from pictures. Then it can be also Rudolf II, Maximilian II.....
