Getting around to scraping dirt off some more roman bronzes, and this one appeared out of the crud. It's the best condition Roman Bronze I've cleaned yet, all the letters are perfect, it's a well centered strike, doesn't have portions of the edge rotted away, etc. Unlike most of my other's, I'm not having to guess on mintmark or emperor. It's lettered CONSTANTI VSPFAVG on the front, GLOR IAEXERC ITVS on the back, ΓSIS (Siscia mint). Weighs 1.62 grams, 17.5mm diameter.
In the catalog, there are plenty of GLORIA EXERCITVS, plenty of Constantius II, and plenty of Siscia mint. But not all together, do I need to add a new type? Or did I just miss it?
