Ancient (I guess) coin, from where?

7 сообщений
Hello Numistas!

I thought I would be able to ID, but I failed.
Got this one in a cheap lot and I am struggling to where to start to search...

It is only one coin, I tried from different light angles.

Not sure what I am seeing, could be some Judea coin? (looked a bit simmilar to me, but I can be totally wrong).

Diameter: Around 15mm

Any thoughts?
All comments are welcome!

Thank you all for your time! =)

It's more likely to be medieval, around 1300-1700, than ancient, but I can't tell more.
If you put a 'space' between the pictures, we can see them magnified.
Perhaps French ? (lily ?)

I changed the coding on the last four pictures, so all should now be viewable magnified. :)

Sorry,
Didn't know the trick to put spaces between images.
Took more pics without artificial light and under a magnifier, still bad quality, will try to a better camera.

Thank you for all comments and ideas!
