The square item is a Muslim temple token from India, perhaps approximately late 19th century. Common, low value (a couple of dollars), but an interesting piece. Most likely in brass.
As I knew. I bought it with some leftover money, so I knew its not worth much, but I have only once heard someone talking about temple tokens before, so it is interesting. Would be an amazing find if it was made in something between 1800-1917, as I collect coins and stamps from that era.
