Arabic coin for identification

This coin was among the Arabian coins. With others I figured it out. This could not be identified.
I ask the help of coin collectors.
It's about 21 mm, aluminum

It's a religious token. The first side says, in a somewhat unorthodox style:

__ لا اله الا الله
محمد رسول الله
"There is no god but Allah
Muhammad is the messenger of Allah"

Where I used a line, I would have expected وحده ("him alone") or something similar, but this is not what we have.

The reverse is probably a passage from the Qur'an.

If there are no numbers, then most likely it is a token.
But what did they do with it? It is so rubbed? How token could be so rubbed?
And is it possible to say what country is it from?

You're right, of course, but is it not barely grammatical? I had ruled out وأن because something like اشهد ان is missing at the beginning.
