Hi, I have spent time researching two silver coins with Arabic dates, and yet I am at a loss about the reverse of one and can find no reference to the second coin what so ever. I have read numerous posts on various coins by Numista members and hope someone may shed light on the coins.
This coin I believe to be 1806 AD Duranni Mahmud Sha silver rupee 11gms
18mm Dia 4.4mm thick. However I can find no reference to any coin with a similar reverse.
This coin I believe the date to be 1864/65 AD silver 6.9gms 20mm Dia 3mm thick. I can find no reference at all to this coin. Anyone any ideas?
First one looks like coin from Afghanistan - Mahmud Shah Durrani, Herat mint

Hi Guys, Thanks for you efforts, on the first coin 1806 AD Duranni Mahmud Sha silver rupee, I have searched for rupees of Mahmud and found a few with the same obverse (I think the side without the date) ,but have not
found any with the same reverse design. Is there any links to which I could refer to on this reign.
