Iranian 2000 dinar, fake?

A friend has this Iranian coin, which should be a 1913 2000 dinar. However, the text under the lion does not match the Numista image (https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces37975.html) but rather says 2 qiran like this earlier coin (https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces78574.html). Also, the second digit of the date looks like a 4 almost and not a 3, but it can't be 1431, it has to be 1331. Was there some variety with the text saying 2 qiran and the mangled date or is this a fake? The friend is a big silver stacker so he should recognize if it's silver or not (and only asked me for identifying the piece as he thought it was genuine silver), and it also has a silver look to it from the pictures. No idea why someone would fake this coin out of silver as it isn't even worth that much in this grade.

Even though an high mintage, I can't find on the web any picture of a 2000 Dinar 1331 KM# 1043
