Malacca Money Tree coin? [решено]

While going through my late father in law's estate, we found this article. He was from Germany and brought many odd artifacts over with him. His parents came also and brought many interesting tidbits. The only information I found was someone else asking about this.

Any information would be helpful. How many were made?

Your coin is most likely a fake; I found this old thread from two years ago with someone asking about a similar Malaccan "Tree coin": https://en.numista.com/forum/topic54046.html

Yours appears to be even cruder than the one there, so I am not confident at all about it's authenticity. Regardless, I will defer to anyone on the site with greater knowledge of these "coins".
