The Nicaragua 5 centavos 1898 does not say "Republica", it says "Estado", because Nicaragua was a member state of the Greater Republic of Central America.

The Greater Republic of Central America was a union of Honduras, Nicaragua and El Salvador, that lasted from September 15, 1896 until November 21, 1898, when the Salvadoran government was overthrown by a general. The Greater Republic did establish diplomatic relations with the United States.

Can this at least be explained in the Numista catalog listing?

(It can also be argued that Nicaragua is not the correct country for this listing.)

While this is an interesting fact that should probably be mentioned in the comments, since the constituent countries (presumably) continued their own coinages, this union has no more effect on classifying the Numista listings than, say, the United Arab Republic, a union between Egypt and Syria in 1958-1961 - which, IIRC, we actually tried to classify as a separate country for a while, but cancelled that later.
Honduras 1898 coinage says "Republica" not "Estado".

Explanation at the Nicaragua listing would help collectors understand the change in status.
Have you sent a request to add that comment?

It seems to me like that is the only the Nicaraguan coin that says Estado rather than Republica (please correct me if I am wrong), so I think adding such a comment to that page would be a nice explanation. :`
I believe that I submitted a request to add the comment nearly a year ago, but do not recall the response.

I will submit it again soon.
