Hi,

and here : https://www.zeno.ru/showgallery.php?cat=1100&page=2

"All recently uploaded Samanid multiple dirhams (##23548-23552, 23554-23556) are struck in very "imitative" style. They are described by Mitchiner as coins struck at Afghanistan mints (M.Mitchiner "The Multiple dirhems of Medieval Afganistan". London 1973. 137 P.). Thanks to dirhem for this reference"
Placez votre main sur un poêle une minute et ça vous semble durer une heure. Asseyez vous auprès d'une jolie fille une heure et ça vous semble durer une minute. C'est ça la relativité.

Thanks, that really helps a lot. Does that mean that the coin is a more or less contemporary imitation? Is there a difference between imitation and forgery? I would like to add the coin to the catalog but right now I have no idea on how to contribute it. The only facts I have so far is: Samanid area, Afghanistan mint, possibly imitation, silver, multiple dirham
Unfortunately, i don't know any better than you do :(
