Is this really worthless?

I found an interesting coin in my late grandmother's house. I tried asking the value of it on social media, one buyer said that is worthless. It is a 1 Escudo Provincias del Rio de la Plata and in good condition. My gut is telling me that this has to worth at least something. Here's some photo - please help.

However, whether it's real is extremely doubtful, since that NGC page claims only 6-7 examples exist.
