Newly issued 2 € CC Germany "Bundesrat" to give away for face value

Dear community,

i have picked up a roll of the new 2 € CC issued yesterday (January 29th) because I know many of you collect these.
Feel free to message me if you are interested in one or multiple copies and I can give you my bank or paypal details.

Bear in mind that although I give them away for 2 € each, you will need to add 90 cents for an unregistered standard letter for one coin or 1,50 € for up to four coins (worldwide). Domestic rates are 70 cents or 85 cents, respectively.

Mint mark is "G", Karlsruhe.

Whatever is left after due time will be spent on groceries! :-)

Don't Germany have problem with shipping coins since the 1st of January because of a new law or something ?

No, the new rules are from the UPU and apply to 192 countries, not just Germany.

I am confident that coins in standard letters will go through. Anxious to hear how that is with padded envelopes, though, which is what I used to use for most of my swaps.

​I've ready had problem with the German post office. The rule was change for international shipping. Only paper can be sent in letter style envelopes. Must be packaged. I use a padded envelope(with bubbles). It seems to work OK, they don't seem to like it and give me funny looks. But they sent it so who cares if they look at me funny.

@David52: Maybe you dealt with one of our overly correct contrymen / -women? I usually buy stamps ahead and just drop my letters in the mailbox, so I haven't been getting any funny looks. The coins I just mailed from this topic were between two pieces of cardboard and wont look any different from a greeting card. Unless they put them through an X-ray in the receiving country, of course.
