France 5 centimes 1897, question on material [решено]

Hello,
After sorting a bag of old coins that I inherited, I have questions on one of them.
It is a 5 cents from France, dated 1897.
I have another one that fits the description in Numista
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces676.html

but the second one, which seems to have been wore as a necklace, seems not to be made in bronze.
Diameter is the same as the bronze one.

why do you think is different? maybe is not a coin and was made just for the necklace?

thanks, and sorry if it is a stupid question!

Bronze color is highly variable. I've got an english bronze coin that is White :8D
Your coin looks like copper that is the main component of bronze.
So if the diameter and weight is adequate, so no problem.

If not what @Frenchlover says then it's probably plating, which is usually the explanation for most coins that aren't the colour they're "supposed to be".
great, thank you guys!
