I am going thru my father in laws coins and I found this nickel.



i am am not a coin collector so I don’t know, should I just throw this away?

No, you should keep it, definitly some coin-freak will like it...
...you can run,  but you can't hide...

Thank you, I guess I’ll just keep in the box. I assume I should do the same with the blank nickel?

​I like that I can determine the year and identify it as a nickel. I think I’ve cataloged about 400 coins today and I will have more.

​People generally like seeing the date on the coin if it is an off center error, like you have here, and it increases the value by a little bit. Congrats on the coin!
