Sultanate of Delhi?

Found this while rummaging in boxes at the Charing Cross market. It looks similar to some coins of the Delhi Sultanate. 15mm and 4.75g.

It could be from the Sultanate of Delhi, but might also be from Jaunpur or Gujarat Sultanates, which look similar. On a quick search through Zeno and Goron & Goenka I didn't find a match. The weight does correspond to ½ falus on an 80 rati standard (could conceivably also correspond to some other denominations). The closest coin I found, but not a match, is

​The reverse is very similar to this one

Thank you both for your help. Perhaps we won't be able to nail it until we can read the inscription. I take it one side says al sultan al azam - the great ruler?
