Civil war button?

I know this isn’t a coin, but it’s still pretty cool. Anyone know when this button is from?

I have quite a few old buttons. They are as diverse, historical, and as valuable as coins!
In fact I am going to a button show in July. I will look for Horstmann ones in future.

I found a few in a $3 poke-box


i also got some 19th century French pieces

Garde Nationale from two different eras, and "Gendarmerie Indigene", but of what territory, and what does the T signify?


Also a Soviet Union era Russian railway uniform button
and Egypt Kingdom period military uniform button with an AD date 1953.
