These are the "Murshidabad" frozen RY19 rupees struck at calcutta.
I'm a little confused about these and their value/rarity - I picked them up cheap along with a rupee (km84.2) for £40 for the lot, but have been doing some attribution work and it seems Steven Album has been rating them as "RRR" with the half rupee in worse condition and more off flan bringing in some $400+ each. Coinindia calls them 'quite rare.' I'm struggling to find any more pictures/sales.
I don't have a Pridmore India but can list some book prices (in US dollars) from Krause's most recent South Asian Coins and Paper Money (2013).
For the half rupee KM 83.3: VG 80 F 60 VF 150 XF 300
For the eighth rupee KM 81.3: VG 15 F 35 VF 75 XF 155
Of course as we know book prices are rarely obtained in actual sales, but the prices are also a few years old now so might have gone up. I would say you did very well with your lot purchase.
I think its a good deal.
I dont have Pridmore India either. But below are the prices from "The Coins of the English East India Company: Presidency Series. A Catalogue and Pricelist" - by Paul Stevens
