1936 D Buffalo Nickels : 3 and Half Legs

Hi Guys,

First time posting.
So my uncle passed away and I was going through his old coin collection and found this nickel. I have been reading about how the 3-legged buffalo not only appears on the 1937 but on the 1936 nickel also. My question is do you guys think this is a real one or has the legged faded out through use?

Looks like he is ready to go (with all 4 legs).

Possibly. That will take a real expert to determine at a grading company and It may be judged as "genuine" but not good enough to earn a "grade". https://www.pcgs.com/coinfacts/coin/1936-d-5c-3-1-2-legs/93978

This is a normal 4 leg coin. The corrosion makes it a little harder to see.
