It's of Ferdinand & Isabel (1474-1516) of Spain. I can't say for certain what coin is is exactly but maybe a 2 Excellent or double. I'd get it checked though to make sure it's real because they're worth quite a bit if they are.
thank you for your response! the gold is real, no doubt about that... will have the coin checked out next friday and keep you posted :)

2 Dukaten of Spanish Netherlands. I don't know the province, probably Zeeland.

Thank you zegeri! The lettering is very similar to what I see on my coin. However, the heads are quite different, do I have to worry or can this have to do with the possibly different area in the Netherlands in which they were made / used?

The coin deserves to be authenticated by experts, because if it is real it will be worth about $ 1,500 ~ 2,000.
I think is Zeeland with the Z inverted in the legend and a weak minted tower at 6 in obverse.

I'll send it back to HQ to be authenticated, I'll let you know what they've made of it :) I payed € 245 for it so if it's real, it was a good deal :)
