SCHAN . Ein Rechenbrett mit Raitpfennigen belegt (deutlicher als
gewöhnlich; die angestellten Zahlen sind: rechts 321, links 3260),
Ku. N. K. 1040. Der Spruch: „Rechenpfennig bin ich genannt, —
Zeig' oft an gross' Ehr' und Schand" ist einer ganzen Serie von Raitpfennigen
eigen. Die Herkunft dieser Serie bestimmt sich wohl nach
dem Stücke, N. K. 1005, welches im ^ einen Engel als Träger zweier
Wappen, rechts das österreichische Balkenschild, links einfachen
Adler und die Jahreszahl 61—Ol (1601) aufzeigt. Nach dem Adler
kann der Pfennig wohl nicht auf Niederösterreich bezogen werden;
wie es N. K. a. a. 0. thut. Ob indess die Einstellung unter Tirol
richtig sei, ist allerdings ebenfalls zweifelhaft.
