This silver dirham, bought in Morocco, is 14-16 mm and 0.78 g.

We can see that the observe and reverse are similar , except maybe the third lines.
Is it the mint on the right segment: Mint?
The date (left segment?) is not readable.

The square inside a round coin stated around 995 AH on Sa'dian coins and I think the last ones were the first Alawi "Rachid" and "Ismail", but this coin is not similar to the Rachid or Ismail coins.

So I think more for an Sa'dian sharif or Interegnum coin but which one?
What can we read on this 2 sides?
I was confused by this coin so asked Nayera Raflik (Ph.D. dissertation on Sa'dian coins) for help. Her very helpful reply is in quotation marks.

"This coin is a double struck Sa'dian dirham of al-Nasser Zaydan 1012-1037 A.H.
The two photos aren't identical. The top photo is like no.#219 and #220 and reads:
(Alfatimy - Zeydan Ima - m Ala'emah) "

الفاطمي
زيدان أما
م الأئمة

"The bottom photo is like no. #218, and reads:
(Alfatimy -Zeydan Amir-Almo'menin)"

الفاطمي
زيدان أمير
المؤمنين

"I think that it is double struck because they are both reverses for two different types, and on both appear a part of date:
A'm .../...../.....wa Alf"
When you mentionned #218, #219, #220...what are these references?
Following your information, I found that the Brethes#1608 is a "square in a circle" half-dirham with the reverse similar to mine: El Fathimi Zidan amir el Moumenin.

His son Ahmed (Ahmed III Ben Zidan el Mansour) (1037 AH) has also a "square in a circle" coin with a similar reverse, but it mentionned Ahmad and not Amir (B#1611 - A#574).

I don't know exactly what you mean by "double struck", but I don't see any "error" or fault on this coin.
I think these two sides are volontary made.

This post is nearly solved, as I can say that this coin is a "variety" of B#1608 and thanks again for your help and your time.
The number references are to Nayera Raflik’s Ph.D. dissertation on Sa'dian coins: https://donum.numismatics.org/cgi-bin/koha/opac-detail.pl?biblionumber=190861

The coin does seem to be of a single strike. As two reverse dies were used, a single strike poses another problem. The obverse and reverse dies were made with different endings. One die ending was made flat for hammering and the other die ending was made pointed to stick in a wood surface. Using two dies with the hammer ending is possible, but it would require extra effort to hold the lower die in place and would not be an accidental strike.
