Help needed to ID unknown medieval coin

can someone help me to ID this medieval coin?

I have never seen this coin before and I cannot find to what issuer this might belong.

Material: Silver
Weight: 1.48g
Diamter: 20.5mm

Probably a token, a king would proudly display his name on the obverse face

On a German numismatic forum someone suggested it might be from Aksum.

Many medieval coins have quite crude designs and some of them can look a bit funny to us.
Discussion on the German Forum is still going on. Definitly not Axum, they also do not believe this to be a tourist copy.
Currently they believe this piece to most probably be from the Balkan area but no clear lead yet.

Interesting coin. There seems to be some letters on the reverse but I'm not sure how to read them.

German Forum also someone said maybe hungary but he looked not sure.

I don’t think it’s hungarian. Maybe II András have some little bit similar coins, but this design is different
