This is my very first time dealing with the selling of coins. I'm not sure how to grade nd if I'm doing it properly. I have this George VI New Zealand Shilling from 1942 nd its what's called a "Broke Back"... could someone please tell me what it is worth nd what "Grade" it falls under. I am Very sure though that this is a "Broke Back" Shilling. Also, any nd all advice is SINCERELY WELCOMED. Thank you all in advance. I hope to hear some feedback nd helpful advice soon.

Sincerely,

In order to receive an appropriate advice from somebody knowledgeable in New Zealand coinage you should first make an effort and provide sharp and higher definition pictures of you coin, at least of this quality.
Don't forget to cut away the empty spaces around the coin on your pictures, so that the files are not too big to upload to Numista.
I collect coins and tokens which circulated in Africa from 18th century to 2000. I sell about 7000 illustrated world coins from http://www.avscoins.com.
Hi,
Numisdoc has some good advice on grading.

If you found a coin in your couch then it is probably a circulated coin and grade could range from Good to Very Fine. Better images would help greatly for other users users to assist you or confirm your conclusions.

Welcome to Numista. Based on the photos provided, I'm judging it as VG due to the wear and lack of details of the hair on the obverse and the grass skirt on the reverse.
