Hercules / Laurel Wreaths, help with identification.

Hello! This is my first time here.
I inherited a collection of mostly old American coins, but this one was mixed in with the others. It is 24 mm in diameter with a profile of Hercules(?) on the front and what appears to be 3 or 4 laurel wreaths surrounding a globe on the reverse. The reverse is in pretty rough shape. It was coated with some goopy fibrous residue which I removed with vinegar. Any help in identifying this coin would be appreciated.

Thanks!
John

hi

It's a copy of a Roman Republican silver denarius of Cornelius Sulla, RRC426.
