On the obverse, it looks like the inscription ends in .REX.B?, but I do not see any pennies that have an inscription ending in REX that look like this from Edward I through Richard III. The reverse inscription I also cannot match with existing examples.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
I think on the reverse we have:

MONETA MER...

So, a state or city whose name starts with Mer_____.
