Does anyone know anything about this item. It is made of cardboard, 35 mm ??
It is in a coinflip, but you can hardly call it a coin.
I guess it is a puzzle-piece issued for promotion or something like that.

Thanks for info. Just wondering what the promo was for or what year this might be.

I came across this token from Reader's Digest for Italy. Can anyone give me any information or value on this token made of 800 silver?

Hello, did you test it for silver. Or is the 800 just stamped in?
...you can run,  but you can't hide...
The silver mark is stamped on the back side where the horse is under his legs.
No, I'm sorry it was never tested for the silver content.
supposing it is silver as indicated by the privy mark, its value is no more than 80% of its mass times the current spot price of silver, currently around USD 0.85. You could weigh it with a postage scale. since you havent, let us suppose it is 5 grams, that would puts its spot value at USD 3.40.
All Readers digest promotional items, and there have been many, are mass produced crap, with no value beyond the raw material.
