Do you know how to value this coin, please ?
Цитата: "Quiquengrogne"Hello,
Do you know how to value this coin, please ?
Good morning, Quiquengrogne. The value of a coin mostly depends on condition, and the year it was minted. Coin runs/issues vary from year to year. And if there is anything about the coin that distinguishes it from a normal strike. For example, irregularity in inscription, date, etc. Re value: have a look at

Hope this helps.
Regards, Alex.
Good morning, Alex.
Thank you for your answer! Yes, the value of this coin is 1 CHF and no more.
But, you talk about "anything that distinguishes it from a normal strike", and my question was precisely about that: what could be the value of a coin minted from a broken die like this one?

Hello Sjoelund,
The same value as without broken die?!
Yes. I wouldn't pay extra for it. If i would one I would keep it for the fun``-

Thank you Sjoelund.
That is why I was asking that question: if it had some real value, I would have swapped or sold it; but, if it is worth near to nothing, I prefer keep it for the fun, eventhough I do not collect faulty coins.
However, I think that some people would pay extra for it, and I was wondering to what extent, in order to know if I should sell it or not. You say: "If i would one I would keep it", but finding one is not so easy; moreover, "if I would one" shows that you are not a faulty coins collector, but there are many of them and I think that they would pay extra for it (in which proportion is the question).

Oh boy,

I'm collecting them, but only for my own fun! Just have a look here:

and so on and so forth, but I NEVER paid any surplus for any of them:P

Hi boy,
I do not see the same type of faulty coin but I thank you for your opinion.
Definitely worth a small premium, On a Canadian coin, I'd expect it to sell for 5-6$ realistically.
I collect anything: If it's Italian or Italian states i collect it even more!

Good morning Loruca,
I thank you very much for your help. Have a good day.
