you could try to clean it with
A small pot, cover the inside with aluminium sheet.
place the coin inside.
fill the coin with a layer of pure baking soda (Kaisernatron).
pour it with boiling water to cover it fully.
leave it for around 20-30 seconds.
Repeat the pricess if needed.
use this method only for high silver content pieces.

tried it on a couple of the more Common looking coins. One came up nicely but the other got a copper sheen to it ! Is that harming the coin?

Also only one coin at a time and after finishing with a coin if there was a lot of crud its best to change the aluminium foil before starting with the second.
