Australia $2.00 coloured coins [решено]

Hi all,
If the Australia $2.00 coloured coins are "Pad Printed" does this mean that it is just a thin layer of colouring and it will wear off when in circulation?
I think so, though I only have a coloured Canadian coin (link below) to go by,
but mine (I have not made a picture of it) is partly worn away on the colouring.

Generally, I have found that with mine the design greatly affects the ease of wear, due to depth of ridges and size of pad print area.
