Britain's first dalliance with decimal coinage, being a tenth of a pound, the Gothic florin is a desireable collector's piece but unfortunately this example is a particularly low grade, possibly between VG and F.
If you look on the obverse you will see the date mdccclxxiii (1873), then click on each link provided. Numista gives a value of around £12 and Tony Clayton says it is £22, but those are based on a grade of F and I believe this example is lower than F.

i would say this is G or VG grade and worth about melt however due to the higher grade being extremely collectable this one still has some premium doesn't mean that it worth a fortune but still good in any collection. The rim dmg is very problematic for collectors, and note don't clean the coin though.
