Hello there.
i have such a piece of a history.
Italy , umberto II,
Weight 15
Silver, (0.925 is written)
I tryed my best but i could not find this one in internet.
What is it?
Or how valuable is this one?
This looks awesome! Sadly I couldnt find it too... possibly a quite rare italian monarchist medal inspired by earlier coinage ( https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces13537.html) . Iam looking for something like this for quite a while now for filling that gap in my collection about the italian monarchy and others possibly do so too - so its not just the silver value it should have.
Цитата: "alfonz"I didnt talk about that coin in the link I posted, I just said this medal is basically inspired by it.
Yes i got it, reverse is very similar, this one just does not says L5 .
i though you were looking for that 5 lire for collection that what i said there.
Denomination, would say on the coin. That's a medal. That said, try looking on the rim. The Italians have been known to put some interesting information on the rims.
Цитата: "BCNumismatics"No coins were ever struck depicting King Umberto II on them - as he only reigned for just over the month of May 1946.
The way he was treated after World War II was pretty rotten.

Aidan.
I believe a few medals were struck of him in 1946, but no coins with face value.
This piece was recently auctioned by Raffaele Negrini, realising €200.
