Hallo,

I have the following coin, which I cannot assign. Who can help me?
weight: 4,81g , diameter: ca. 21mm, not magnetic

Thanks!
Yes, this is a bronze stater of the Chola dynasty of Sri Lanka and southern India, ca 1000-1300 AD. They are often called "octopus man" coins and are often attributed to Raja Raja Chola (985-1014 AD) but there are several later rulers with similar coins to his. I'm thinking this is probably from one of those later rulers, but not sure which. Maybe someone else can help out with this. The first photo should be rotated 180 degrees, the second photo should be rotated 90 degrees clockwise.

Edit added later:
Found your coin. It's Sahassa Malla (1200-1202 AD)
