Hello guys, sorry didnt saw that topic... About my "jurisdiction" (#11 - Brazil section), actually this two coins are completely different for us in Brazil on our catalogs... A mistake on Krause (on brazilian collectors opinion) to put them on the same KM# 278 (even though they end with different numbers)... On this case would be preferable to keep the coin https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces130017.html because is more complete on the details/informations and erase the other... Thanks and best wishes!

Megas: Swedish and Papal states of the coin - at the discretion of the referee (requests sent).
The last pair of Iranian coins is obviously different.
Coins can have the same KM#, but also have different national numbers, for example. I do not see a problem if we have different pages for old coins with the same KM#, if this does not contradict common sense.

#20 - no duplicates

Regarding Isle of Man #26. I looked at the listings. It is appropriate that there are two listings. one is copper-nickel, the other is silver plated. Unlisted is a silver and a gold type as well. In all, there will be 4 types listed.

No, both coins are silver plated. The second coin have incorrect KM reference, it should be KM#162a. Coper-nickel coin also exists in catalog https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces53460.html

This duplicate slipped by me because the first coin had the wrong metal type so it was missed in a search.

But as part of another clean up I found it.

Hi.
Isle of Man has some issues I cannot fix:

KM# 1482 should be dated 2012, not 2014

There are 2 KM# 556 I cannot get rid of one because people have there coins in both listings.

There are also 2 KM# 517, I cannot get rid of one for the same reason.

Can an admin help?

There is one member who has an entry against the 2019 only coin. Can this please be moved to the 2019 year line on the multi year coin

Those two are very obviously the same type, whose dating is under extensive confusion (I've seen dates anywhere between 1st and 8th century AD).

There's probably a bunch of other duplicates of Principality of Chaghaniyan coins listed under the currency "Dinar (632-790)"; it looks like the issuer in question might have been a dumping area for early medieval Central Asian coins before they got their own country. I'll edit this post if I find any more.

EDIT: sounds like most of those early additions are the Central Asian versions of this infamous Russian type, which means that I can't actually attribute them to a particular recently added Central Asian type; there's usually half a dozen or more possible matches, some of which don't have pictures.
One pair that does seems to match is this "Chaghaniyan" type and this Chach type.
Done.

This is correct. Before Central Asia was re-united, under Chaghaniyan, there were not actually any coins from Chaghaniyan--just various other Sogdian-related places (mostly Chach). As I am getting the ruling authorities added, I am trying to delete each of those duplicates (or modify the pages and delete the others, depending on the pictures).

If you look at the dates on all those Dinar-duplicates, all pages match the currency, which is not quite correct. So... the dates are not the best indicators here.

Regardless, all these duplicates will be dealt with sometime soon. 0:)
I shouldn't have linked the Russian coin :snif: it wasn't actually a duplicate of anything that I knew of, and I kind of liked that it was around, though I understood that it made no sense.

If that's not a silly question, what did you merge it with, if anything?
I've created a new page for the coin which had already existed. Didn't understand it because of the quality of the coin...
So, please, correct my mistake

No - the first link is for the old, larger 30.0mm size.
The same design was used for the new, smaller 27.3mm size.

In the UK the 50 Pence (and 10 Pence and 5 Pence) were also reduced in size, over time.
